Reports from the Wanderlei Silva camp suggests that the light heavyweight is considering a drop to the UFC's middleweight division.
Speaking to GracieMag.com, Silva's trainer Rafael Alejarra said:
“we can’t confirm anything about the next fight, if just because there is the chance Wand will drop down in weight.”
Alejarra did go on to mention that, “nothing’s for sure yet, we’ll wait and see”.
Back in December at UFC 79 many experts were a little surprised at the overall size advantage Chuck Liddell had over Silva in their match-up, which have may have sparked some concern in the Silva camp.
Silva's next bout would most likely be against Keith Jardine - if he remains at light heavyweight level although this now now looks to be increasingly unlikely.
