fakeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee… randy dint even get hit properly to drop like that..slow it down if u want.. he just fell over cause he thaught he gave enough of a good show. his contract is over now that was his last fight… put on a show for a bit and lost so he wudnt have to fight in the UFC and basically handed lesnar the belt. prolly dana whites bullshit deal made with randy just so randy could get out and do w/e without UFc. which is smart but to obvious in the fight
Actually, moron, Randy signed a new three fight contract with the UFC before this fight. And losing now means that he won’t fight Fedor so I don’t see why who would lose on purpose.
jason, that was more than enough to go down. it isnt like boxing where the guys have massive gloves that blunt the blow. lesner has HUGE hands and a really powerful punch and the mma gloves make it like randy got hit with a bareknuckle punch. and randy ducked out of the first punch and it resulted in the second one hitting his temple there was no way he wouldnt fall from that

Fake.. nonsense.. Brock got a good elbow and knee in that set randy off of his game a little bit but thats not what got to him. he simply lost his balance and had 280 lbs jump on top of him. watch his feet, he lost balance and went down. hard to recover with a huge guy like brock, well rounded fighter awesome wrestler and as big as a bus. Randy didnt give it up he simply lost because of a mistake on his part. I dont care though because Randy Couture will always be a UFC Legacy.
I looks like a big fraud. ..Lesnar is not a well rounded fighter after “4 nothing special fights” - that’s for sure!

Anyone who thinks that this fight was a fake and Randy gave up the belt is an idiot! Randy has the heart of a champion and the thought of giving up would never cross his mind. Randy was simpley outsized and out gunned.

This was the worst fight i have seen. It was not worth the money. It was so fake, randy sold out. Open your eyes, this was fake. He didn’t even get hit in the temple, it barely got him in the back of the head, it was not a hard hit.

Randy looked ok coming off the cage…stepping side to side…balance was there. Brock throws combo, doesn’t connect and Randy hits the deck. As FAKE as I’ve seen! Lost respect for Randy and UFC!
Slipping in the last few seconds costed randy his belt. It clearly wasn’t a fake fight randy wasn’t hit so hard he fell. the guy simply slipped then got jumped on and the hell beat out of.
This fight was not fixed brocks a big man and getting punched by him is prolly gonna knock you down especailly on a cross when he is able to turn his massive hips into it
the thing you guys gotta understand that are saying this fight is fake, is that even taking a light punch from a fist that size will hurt like a mofo and then those hammers bounce his head off the canvas which is like hitting twice with one punch
He gets caught trying to throw a punch, you see him push off his back leg then gets hit in the temple, it looks like he just fell over but I think he got half caught in the temple and a slight slip.
what knocked randy down truthfully was the weight behind the punch of lesnar. As you can see lesnar hit randy with a punch that was aimed downward ontop of his head resulting in a loss of balance. The weight of the punch forced randys legs to give out. I think you guys are mistakin when you say that this punch ROCKED randy because it did not, the weight just forced him to lose his balance, you may realize this by looking at how he intelligently defens himself when first drops down, the punch clearly did not stun him
Therefore this fight was not fake. Randy just got overwhelemed by a man that is alot heavier then him

Were the head gos the body will follow, randy wasn’t set to withstand the blow so he went down, not out , but down. brocks quickness to capitolize by pouncing on him seaked the deal.I suppose the hammer fist and elbows weren’t hard at all either. Bruce Lees’ 1 inch punch was probably fake too right? Just because you’ve watched a bunch of fights on the UFC doesn’t mean you know something about fighting.

I totally missed the lack of connection on the punch that “DROPPED” Randy. I viewed the clip again and there it was. What I also realized for the first time was that the knee that randy gets caught with 10 seconds before did hurt him. He gave that delayed bounce to try to shake off the hit and went down after brock re-engaged.
Anybody that thinks this fight was fake, the UFC or Randy sold out..just have to come to the realization that Randy simply got manhandled by a 280lb. man(fight night). Stop being Brock HATERS..the mans for real..what the hell else does he have to do to prove that!! He lost to Mir(controversial ref stand-up i might add) and didn’t complain and came back and destroyed Herring. Then with Randy…Brock landed good punches, and controlled the fight..imposed his will..strength..and 4X specially made gloved fists into Randy’s face/head! Watch it..slow-mo..big screen…he clearly got caught..a few times…the punch that sent him down landed right behind the ear..with fists that big..his whole head…he wasn’t out but stunned…and then like 20 or more hammer fists landed consecutively without 1 being blocked…and many of them bouncing Randy’s head off the canvas. Anybody that still doesn’t agree or says the punches weren’t hard….lol….why did it take Randy 3-5 mins to get up and get to a stool..still not convinced…look at his FACE….swollen…brused…battered…beaten!!! How can you deny it!! I think Randy’s awesome too…but give Brock his respect…he earned it, he wants to fight the biggest and best, he doesn’t want to start at the bottom…and why should he have to…think about it..if you can beat the champ or the best at something..why should you have to start at the bottom?? Also….remember…Randy won his first UFC title in his 4th UFC fight too!!! I think if Brock continues to stay hungry and continues to train hard for every single fight, and continues to learn all aspects off MMA…theres no reason he can’t hold on to that belt for along time, and beat down anyone in his path..he’s overall bigger, stronger, and faster then any heavyweight out there right now. The only thing he lacks is MMA experience(meaning fighting styles). What he knows now’s made him UFC champ, with a few nice wins, so just imagine how awesome he could be once he learns more!! Just stop hating…Start hoping he sticks with it…and gives it his all…and doesn’t pull a GSP his first go around!!!
9:14 into the video you hear Brock’s fist hit Randy behind the ear. That smack sound is the result of a shit load of force smackin’ Randy in the side of the head. I heard that same sound when Brock smoked Heath Herring in the face and that shattered his orbital. That shit’s not fake I’m suprised Randy didn’t have trouble hearing after that.

I watched the hit that Brock gave Randy over and over on slow motion on my DVR and it looks completely fake. If you watch it his fist didn’t even hit randys face, it scuffed the side of Lesnars arm. ALso, if you think about all the drama Randy had with UFC and how old he is, why wouldn’t they want to erect a new champion? Betting can also be a reason to why Randy lost, payouts. Whether its fake or not, you be the judge.
i first saw the video and initially didn’t understand why randy fell. there was no straight blow nor elbow hit from brock. i then played it in slow motion and saw randy get hit behind the head. that blow does hurt, have someone try it on you or try it on yourself. i came to google to see if others had also seen why randy fell. why didn’t the ufc do anything about this??

i have looked and looked and looked and looked and that is one weak punch, the knee strike at about the last 30 secs is much more powerful it would have knocked Randy out had it been straight off the knee rather than off his thigh but still more powerful than the punch.
im not dissing Randy i think he is great but it certainly looks weak, plus the flurry of punches at the end, no way randy couldnt defend against them, not saying brock is weak in any way but his strikes were second class, plus randy was making no effort to try and grab his hand/arm untill the very end about 3 seconds before the ref stopped it.
Brock looked like a train in the first 3 mins but he slowed real down after that and i really thought Randy had more to his game than what he showed at the end, he has been in with some serious competitors in the past and it didnt show come the end of this.
im left with a dubious feeling on this one, seems out of sync.

Clearly this was a fixed match. Randy understood the deal, 1 game round, and down. Lesnar is the new money maker for the UFC, and even Randy knows this. You get paid a new deal to take one for the team and soon retire. There was no connection on the punch, just a soft swipe and graze of the back of Randys head. Too many gullible newbies that don’t know what their seeing.
More like you’re a newbie who understands nothing about MMA. Randy had taken numerous shots in the fight and got caught over and over again, he was slightly gassed by that time. Sometimes even a weak looking shot can drop you and Lesnar pounced and destroyed him from there on. Anybody who thinks it was a fix is a complete and utter idiot. Was Lesnar destroying Mir a fix? Sorry guys, but I do a little boxing. I watched this fight and I couldn’t believe that Couture went down. I watched in slow-motion and nothing hit Couture. He purposely fell down. this was staged.
In my humble opinion, I feel that that lately, the UFC has become a lot like a mix between WWF and professional boxing where fights are staged or the judges make some aweful decisions.
I enjoy watching Fedor Emelinanko and the Pride fighting. I see more guys in shape at the heavier poundages in Pride and with better overall skills. Overall, I see MMA as still evolving as a sport and many of the fighters have weak chins so it is possible that the cumulation of prior fights and the early shots from Lesnar caused him to go down but the probability of that happening to a guy like Couture is not high.

who ever thinks this fight was a fake is a complete retard. do u know how hard a 280 lbs man of muscle n strength hits. he didnt even flatten out randy euther. randy could have recovered but look at the first punch brock hits him with while hes on the grond thats why he couldnt recover. by the way randy doesnt have a solid chin he got flattened out by 205 lbs chuck liddel while he was backing up. lesnar wabbled his balance earlier in the fight with the elbow. if it was fake then randy would have been flattened out ko’d. randy got dropped 3 times against nogueira and nogueira doesnt hit half as hard as lesnar. so just face it loser lesnar haters he won fair n square.
