Default Strikeforce on NBC

According to this news report Strikeforce have announced an official deal with NBC. This is great for MMA with more free channels starting to pick it up.

“Mixed martial arts has exploded onto the sports scene, its athletes are tremendous competitors, and the sport is one of the fastest growing in the world. As a leader in this arena, Strikeforce will be able to deliver some of the finest and most intense action ever seen on broadcast TV.”

It'll most likely be similar to UFC Unleashed to some degree, now if only they could work on bringing more live fights or news round-ups to free channels.

I know that sportsnet which i think is primarily canadian play repeats of UFC fight nights and TUF later at night which is kinda nice.

Looks like the first show, very UFC Unleashed-esk broadcasts this Saturday night! I've missed a few of the earlier events not knowing they were on Showtime, so I bet I'd be able to see some new ones. I honestly hope they show a Charles Bennett fight in this episode. It's so hard to come by his fights!

FYI, old EliteXC shows often repeat on the fight channel.

I have no idea what the fight channel is. I'm thinking other providers have it just not Comcast. That sucks!

It's The Fight Channel or The Fight Network or something like that, it's in the sports channels with Bell that plays only Boxing and MMA shows and stuff like that
