Frank Shamrock Surgery on Right Arm

during the Cung Le fight at the EliteXC/Strikeforce event over the weekend Frank Shamrock sustained a broken right forearm which he's set to have surgery on:

Forget arm surgery, Shamrock needs brain surgery!

I mean is his ego so damn big that he just had to stand and trade shots with Cung Le? Why in the hell he didnt take it to the ground is beyond me.

Yeah, I mean, I guess it's hard to blame him when people were saying he couldn't stand with Cung. I mean, he stood with Cung for three rounds, 2 1/2 with a broken arm. I say he's got props.

I think his gameplay was to stand with Cung for the first 2-3 rounds then take him to the mat, sadly - that's what i read he claims but sadly didn't turn out that way.

I don't really care for Frank's antics, but to continue fighting with that bad bone fracture has a lot to say in regard to him being one tough guy !
