Sure, spiking to the head, specifically the back, must be done in a horizontal manner and clearly away from the base of the neck and skull area. I don't agree in any way since spiking is illegal any other way. I don't think spiking in any form should be legal, but since it's not vertically coming down (less inertia through gravity) it's got less force coming horizontally. I personally hate seeing fights decided by cuts. Looking back, most recently, was the fight between Mr. T and Mr. Potato head (Jared Rollins, and War Machine) where both fighters were covered in blood from head to toe before the first round was over because of elbow cuts by both fighters. Simply stupid. I've wanted them to get rid of spiking for a long time.
