Alright so I am MEGA excited about this PPV event ... why you ask? because I am from Quebec and it's going to be awesome to watch. However I wont be able to watch it on april 19th because well i am getting married on April 19th and will be partying it up but it replays all day the next day so I shall catch it then. ANYWAYS here are my picks
1. GSP
2. Franklin
3. Quarry
4. Bisping
5. Danzig
I'm not sure how each are going to win yet. I think the Bisping match will be a decision and that GSP will win in the second round. As for the rest i am not sure.
What do you all think?

Yeah, I'm stickin' with what she said. I just don't see it going any other way realistically. The only one I can't help doubting is Gsp and you know I hate doubting him!!!

I think everyone is kinda saying the same thing in the back of their heads but honestly with his track record when he loses he comes back fierce and makes the opponent look like they haven't trained for years. Seriously, for instance when he came back and fought Hughes after beating him he made Hughes look like he didn't know if he was coming or going and he never even loss to Kos and beat Kos at his own game. The is a huge weight on GSP's shoulders since its in his home town and the first UFC event in Canada but I think he has all his corners checked and is going to lay Serra flat. I say second round, could happen in the first but I think Serra is going to be playing safe the first round.
Vas-Y GSP!

I posted these picks on another forum (now would these picks be my wagers... I'm still not sure yet) :
George St. Pierre vs. Matt Serra :
George St. Pierre because I respect his skills, he's a class act, and I'd like to see him just totally destroy Serra to prove that Serra doesn't belong where he is.
Rich Franklin vs. Travis Lutter :
Rich Franklin is another class act, a great example of how professional MMA fighters should represent the sport, I'd like to see Rich come back after being dominated so badly (twice) by Anderson even if it will be as a gatekeeper until things change in the MW division, after all Rich was an unstoppable dominant force in his weight class until he had to dance with Silva.
Michael Bisping vs. Charles McCarthy :
Charles McCarthy basically for no other reason than I can't stand Bisping who is a perfect example of how a professional MMA fighter should not represent the sport... maybe next time when he gets his ass beat and can pay some respect to his opponent, then I might change my mind about him... but I doubt it.
Kalib Starnes vs. Nate Quarry :
Nate Quarry as I'm not a fan of Kalib who IMO lacks the heart to compete in the UFC.
Mark Bocek vs. Mac Danzig :
I'd like to see Mark Bocek win this one, as Mac is another fighter who's arrogance just annoys the hell out of me.
So... basically I prefer to see highly skilled class act fighters as ambassadors who represent MMA.
I just don't understand how some individuals expect the sport to gain more respect in the "mainstream" when disrespectful shit-talking fighters are some of the faces of the sport... that kind of persona is just too WWE for me !
Intelligent, respectful, well spoken, class act fighters in victory or defeat is what is going to help MMA gain more "mainstream" acceptance... not low class, shit talking fools with high school mentality comments.

I agree with you but a big part of the ufc is the 15 mins before the fight where you just watch both parties shit talk each other. Now there are fighters in which don't shit talk and are completely respectful but the majority of it isn't.
I personally think there should be more fighters like Forrest because that lad makes me laugh every time they interview him, whether it is before the fight or after
Don't worry Rich GSP will own Serra then tell him to make him a sandwhich!
